Rivers to the Bay

Date: 4:30pm EDT March 12, 2015

The Center for Environment & Society announces its third year of the Rivers to the Bay program.

Rivers to the Bay (R2B) is an 80 hour professional development module that takes teachers from Kent and Queen Anne’s Counties into the field and the river, and tasks them to incorporate experiential STEM programming and learning into their classes.

R2B runs from April to July, with an orientation in March. Teachers will learn about our STEM programs: Build-a-Buoy, Basic Observation Buoys, Aquabotz, It’s for the Birds, and Weather or Not.
