About Us

In the Classroom

The great outdoors—encompassing fields, ponds, marshes, creeks, rivers, and bay— is our biggest classroom.

You might spend an afternoon at Turners Creek working with children from Radcliffe Creek School, spend a summer mapping debris on the Chester River, or immerse yourself in our signature program, the Chesapeake Semester.

During the Summer Program at Kiplin Hall, English professor Rich Gillin introduces students to the Romantic poets while hiking through the moors and mountains of Yorkshire.
