Johnson Fitness Center

Get fit. Get awesome. And have fun.

Whether training for athletic competition, going to a fitness class, or just staying in shape, the Johnson Fitness Center is the place to be.

To meet the growing fitness demands of the entire Washington College community—students, faculty, staff and members of The 1782 Society who opt to use the facility—we renovated and expanded the existing Strength and Conditioning Center in the winter of 2013. The new center is located at the southernmost part of the JFC.

The JFC is a comprehensive exercise facility that includes an indoor field house with 4 tennis courts, 200 meter indoor track, 3 basketball courts,  and a batting cage. Just outside the field house the JFC houses 2 racquetball and 2 squash courts, a 1200 sq. ft. dance studio, locker rooms, and a state of the art Strength and Conditioning Center.

Schedules and information may be obtained by calling 410-778-7256 or by email at Reservations for the courts can be made at the front desk of the JFC.

  • The Grand Reopening of the Johnson Fitness Center packed brought scores of guests to celebrate the expansion of the space.
