Graduate Course
Teaching and Learning American History: Content, Learning Theory and Pedagogy (HIS 598-12)
3 MSDE credits

The course will cover American history content from prehistory to Reconstruction with particular attention to the Eastern Shore issues, events and personalities. Current learning and thinking research will be integrated with instructional strategies to improve students' historical understanding. An action research final project is required.

Seven Saturdays: January - May 2006.
