Historic Calendar Is Gift Incentive

Washington College's new fiscal year begins July 1, 2000. So does a new 18-month calendar that the Alumni Office is giving away in exchange for each gift made to the Washington College Fund before December 31, 2001.

The wall calendar, "Travel Through Time," Calendar Coveris richly illustrated with historic campus photographs and annotated with historic College events.

The percentage of alumni who make annual contributions to their alma mater is one of the national standards used for assessing an institution's vitality and for ranking colleges in U.S. News and World Report. Washington College's institutional goal is 50% participation.

"To reach our goal this year, we will need the support of more than 4,000 alumni," notes Trams Hollingsworth '75, Director of Alumni Affairs.
