This fall Canvas will be replacing Blackboard. Check out the transition timeline, sign up for a workshop and learn more about Canvas to ensure a smooth transition.

Preparing for the transition

The Educational Technology department will help faculty move their Blackboard materials  to Canvas. Before the move it’s always good to declutter and organize your content - it will save you time later. Once materials have been moved, you’ll want to proof the new sites to make sure everything has carried over. Sign up for one of the workshops below to get a basic overview of Canvas and the migration process. 

Canvas Workshops

These sessions will be open lab times where you can drop in and ask questions about Canvas and the migration from Blackboard. Please let us know if you plan to attend during one of the time blocks and what your main objectives will be.
