Chair, Curriculum Committee Dick is a native of the furniture manufacturing area of Jamestown, New York. Dick and his wife Nancy moved to Chestertown in 2010 by way of Fairfax Virginia, Harrogate England and Malvern Pennsylvania following Dick’s 40 year engineering career. During his career he worked for General Electric and Lockheed Martin designing and building satellite and cell phone communication systems. Dick is a graduate of the State University of New York at Alfred and the University of Illinois. During his career he served as a curriculum advisor from industry in electrical engineering for the State University of New York. He also was a member of the Board of Directors for Mercy Vocational High School in Philadelphia. His hobbies include fishing, boating, and all things woodworking. He was trained as a cabinetmaker and has continued his interest in furniture by designing, building and restoring all styles of furniture.
