The Office of Student Activities works to fulfill its commitment to student learning, personal development, and the enhancement of campus life by expanding the student educational and social experience through diverse and challenging opportunities that promote and facilitate participation in the intellectual, cultural, and social aspects of Washington College. Student Activities through its programs and activities helps to shape the out of class experience into a living-learning laboratory that provides students an opportunity to develop personal, professional, and leadership skills.

SEB hosted the Fall Country Concert which showcased two country singers.
September saw the Student Events Board’s second-annual Wet N’ Wild which included inflatable water slides and other water-based activities.
International Men’s March to stop Rape, Sexual Assault and Gender Violence.
Community Service intern, Katie DeRosa ’13 and Student Development Intern, Erin Franco ’13, helped Beth Anne Langrell in the planning and execution of this event.
The Goose Nest offers weekend entertainment in a club atmosphere, with food, beverages, games, and live music.
Throughout the opening weekend, the Nest hosted the music of alumnus Kentavius Jones, a night of karaoke, and two Super Bowl events.
The Goose Nest is open Sundays through Thursdays from 12:00 noon -12:00 midnight and from 12:00 noon - 1:00 a.m. on Fridays.

How do I reserve a table in front of the dining hall?
Please fill out the Hodson Hall Reservation Request. A representative from the Office of Student Activities will contact you within 48 hours. If you have additional questions please visit the Office of Student Activities, located on the first floor of Hodson Hall Commons, contact by phone at (410) 778-6118, or send an email to firstname.lastname@example.org. Times are reserved on a first come, first serve basis so be sure to reserve early!

There is also the Goose Nest where you and your friends can play video games, board games, and table top games. The Goose Nest also provides students with places to hangout and watch movies and television with a group of friends.
