2017-2018 Room Assignment Process
Current students participate in a room selection process, starting on April 18, 2017. Current students must begin that process by filling out the housing preference information. Students can enter the housing portal via Web Advisor. Under the Residential Life section, click on Housing and Meals Application Information.
New students will also be filling out the housing preference information accessed via Web Advisor. However, new students are assigned by staff. Incoming students can request a specific person to be their roommate. Both students must have their housing preference form completed in order to pick each other.
In the same site, all students can select their dining plan at this time as well sign the housing contract online. A signed housing contract is required.
Now is a good time to get familiar with the behavioral responsibilities of all Washington College students by reading the Student Handbook. Exercising the privilege of residential living means being aware and accountable for the “rules of the road.”
