Tips for Parents

Whether you are sending birthday cards, care packages or words of encouragement, Central Services makes it easy for parents to reach their sons and daughters.

Sending Mail

Note: Washington College has recently switched to a numbered box system for students - be sure to include the box number as detailed below to ensure mail arrives promptly. Reaching any student at Washington College is as simple as adding their name when addressing mail to Washington College. See the example below:

Writing Home

Students can send mail letters and packages home (and everywhere else) using the same mail services that deliver mail to them on campus. To take advantage of Central Services for sending mail, students should expect to pay by cash or check for each service purchased. There are USPS stamps available from the campus bookstore that can be purchased with credit cards or student IDs, though.
