Information for new Full-time Faculty members

 

A Note from the Director of Human Resources:

Welcome to Washington College! This is a great place to work and we are glad you decided to join us.  As you get started at Washington College, I invite you browse out website.  If you have any questions or concerns, I encourage you to contact me at achesney2@washcoll.edu.  Again, Welcome aboard.

As a new employee we understand that you have many questions and regarding your employment here. Check out our New Employee FAQ .  

Before you begin employment you will need to complete a New Employee Paypack. Please contact the Office of Human Resources to schedule an on-boarding appointment to complete these forms with a Human Resources staff member. After completion, it takes 2 business days to process your employment forms. Please note: Your employment forms must be submitted and processed before you can gain access to email,be issued an ID card, etc.

Don’t forget to sign your offer letter and return it to the Office of Human Resources. 

During your first week of employment you can register for a parking tag, pick up keys and WC ID Card from the Department of Public Safety. Sign up for WAC Alerts to receive information about closings and campus emergencies.

Familiarize yourself with Washington College Policies

Benefit Eligible Employees will be scheduled for New Employee Orientation through the Employment Coordinator. The day-long Orientation Program introduces new employees to Washington College in addition to reviewing the benefits package and enrollment.
