Human Resources

The Office of Human Resources provides programs and services in recruitment, benefits, compensation, policies and procedures, professional development, and other employee-related issues that support Washington College’s employees and its academic mission.

Along with administration, we strive to create a supportive work environment that will help us attract, develop, motivate and retain a diverse workforce.     Human Resources & Rite Aid of Chestertown will be sponsoring a Flu Shot Clinic on Monday, October 26th from 9:00am -3:00pm.  The clinic is open to all Faculty, Staff and their dependents. Appointment are recommended.

    Co-Pays will be collected after the clinic by Rite-Aid.

    In keeping with our tradition, the office of Human Resources is once again pleased to offer voluntary individual Holiday Savings Club Accounts through Peoples Bank of Kent County, Maryland. For new enrolls and changes, the Christmas Club Enrollment forms are due by noon on October 1, 2015.
  • This policy has been updated to include Vehicle Damage. 
  • This form as been updated to include Health Coverage Options, Policies acknowledgement and lines for user to initial each item.
  • To streamline the on-boarding and exit process for employees, the Office of Human Resources has made some changes to these procedures. 

  • Washington College is proud to announce that we will be joining the Maryland Community Development Administration’s newest home ownership initiative, House Keys 4 Employees (HK4E). Click here to read about this exciting program.
  • If there are employees that are no longer working for your department, please complete a Personnel Change Form to terminate their employment.

  • What is a Paypack?

    A Paypack is a packet of forms that all new employees must complete in order to work for and be paid by Washington College.
