Home Page Guidelines
Our home page is a visual story wall. The home page committee meets weekly to discuss changes and additions to the photos and content of the home page.
What are you looking for?
We look for pictures that show the unique characteristics of the Washington College education. These pictures primarily link to stories and galleries, but may also highlight upcoming events or spotlight a department or division.
How do I submit?
When suggesting content to the home page, please make sure you have a captivating image. You can suggest content through the CMS or by emailing firstname.lastname@example.org with the subject “Home page.”
What replaced the event rotation?
Our main navigation for the Washington College website features a link to News & Events and our in depth Calendar page (found in the footer) replaced the news blog and the events page from the old site. Events from the Calendar are dynamic content and also appear on the Campus Life and News pages and in any group that chooses to link to them.
