Washington College offers a fulfilling liberal arts education, providing opportunities and memories that will last a lifetime.
Why Washington College?
When I first stepped onto campus, I was convinced Washington College was one of the top-leading liberal arts institutions in the region. Located near the Chester River, students have the opportunity to experience the Eastern Shore like never before.
Chestertown’s rich and historic campus, being named after our first president George Washington, provides students with a personal and rewarding education. There is no doubt, students will leave this school feeling satisfied and confident with their undergraduate experience.
As a major in both the natural and social sciences, I am a strong advocate for the liberal arts experience. Washington College provides infinite opportunities for students to explore their interests, as well as apply their talents outside the classroom. Each student will leave this school having embarked on an individualized journey, gaining skills, knowledge and resources along the way.
