What do you do for a campus job or work study?
I am a Peer Mentor, a note-taker, a Safe Ride driver, and a WC Voyager.
Have you had any internship, research, or study abroad experiences?
Through the freshmen and sophomore internship/job-shadowing program, I visited Timothy Tawney at NASA in DC for a day and learned all about the international relations of NASA. I have also been volunteering at the Emergency Department of Chester River Hospital Center through the WC-Latino Community Volunteer Program.
What is your Sunday habit?
Here at college, I wake up to the radio and lay in bed until 10:30, then I proceed to the Dining Hall and eat a big brunch. After, I walk back to my room, gather all my school work, and set up camp in the library for the day. At home, I wake up and go to church, then come home for breakfast. I listen to NPR with my father and lazily do whatever comes to mind. It’s a day to relax.
What should every student do before they graduate?
Every student should go to/witness all the major traditions at WC at least once. They should also go to downtown Chestertown on a Saturday morning for the Farmer’s Market or during a First Friday. They should walk down to the waterfront and sit in the pavilion and just think for an hour or so. They should attend a senior thesis play or something artsy.
