What do you do for a campus job or work study?
I am a Peer Mentor and I am also a John S. Toll Research Fellow.
What are you up to this summer? And what are you most looking forward to?
This summer I am working here at Washington College as part of the John S. Toll Program. Within the Child Development Lab in the Psychology Department, I am working with Dr. Tia Murphy for 10 weeks conducting studies on preschool age children to learn if there is a correlation between attachment style and jealousy. It’s been a neat process to not only assist in data collection but to also assist in designing the experiment. I’m looking forward to seeing what we find!
Why did you choose your major?
I chose my major because I’ve always been really interested in psychology and the mind, but I’m especially interested in what it is about a person’s biology that may cause them to think or behave in the way they do.
What is your favorite Ctown hangout?
My favorite Ctown hangout is a tie between the farmer’s market on Saturday mornings and the Bookplate. With both, every time you go is a new experience and you’re never quite sure what you’ll find!
