What should every student do before graduating?

Get involved with something that scares you. That may sound bizarre but some of the best memories I have made here at WAC are from taking advantage of opportunities that seemed daunting and unfamiliar to me at first. Try something completely new!

Why did you choose your major?

I have studied French since middle school and ever since then I became very interested in language as well as the cultures and civilizations that accompany them, which is why History seemed to fit nicely as my second major.

What is your favorite spot around Chestertown?

The Bookplate is a cozy, little bookstore on South Cross Street that you could lose yourself in due to the incredible amount of books they have! They even feature poetry readings and festivals which are a great way to connect with the local community.
