Rachel Brown

Class of 2016
Major/Minor: Hispanic Studies and Anthropology with a minor in Creative Writing

Rachel Brown is a member of the Class of 2016 working toward a double-major in Hispanic Studies and Anthropology with a minor in Creative Writing.

Campus Involvement

A Student Associate with the Starr Center since the fall of 2013, Rachel has worked continuously with the Starr Center team on the StoryQuest Oral History project, interviewing veterans and civilians alike about their experiences during World War II. On campus, Rachel is the Editor-in-Chief of The Collegian, and is a leader of the Día de Fútbol Committee. She hopes to pursue a career as an interpreter and translator working for nonprofit organizations in South America, and to continue writing fiction and poetry. Although Rachel’s family now live in Wilmington, Delaware, she was born and raised in Maryland, and is very thrilled to once again be living in the state with the prettiest flag.
