Kate Kostelnik earned her Ph.D. in English from the University of Nebraska and her MFA from the University of Montana. Her fiction, which won a 2007 NJ State Arts Council Fellowship, has appeared in 42 Opus, Hayden’s Ferry, Superstition Review, and Fifth Wednesday. Her scholarship has appeared in Creative Writing Teaching: Theory and Practice and is forthcoming in Pedagogy. Her chapter in Creative Writing Studies: A Guide to its Pedagogies discusses the undergraduate creative writing classroom informed by writing center pedagogy. She just published her first poem in The Mom Egg Review and is getting ready to send out her novel, Adult Education.
