Starr Center Student Associate
Jeff is a senior history major and philosophy minor at Washington College. He is originally from Marion Station, Maryland. In 2012, Jeff was a participant in the Washington College Oral History Workshop. For the summer of 2013, he served as a Comegys Bight Fellow at the Maryland State Archives where he researched the Maryland Line in the Revolutionary War. He has also done academic work on the Revolution in several courses, as well as some independent research for his senior thesis, which focuses on Maryland Revolutionary War veterans and their lives in the new nation. The final project for a course he took in the spring was to write a biography for a previously anonymous USCT soldier in the Civil War; his work and those of the other students has been used by the Maryland State Archives on its website. He plans to attend law school after graduating in spring 2014.
