As Vice President of College Advancement, Gary works with Washington College’s alumni, parents and friends to deepen their relationships to WC.
A graduate of the University of Chicago (B.A., History 1987), Gary earned a law degree from the IIT-Chicago Kent College of Law, where he served on Law Review. Before coming to Washington College, Gary served as Vice President for Institutional Advancement at the University of North Texas Health Science Center. Prior to that, he served for five years as Director of Major Gifts for the National Alzheimer’s Association. He has a combined 25 years of experience in advancement work that stretches back to his tenure as Head Supervisor of the Telefund at the University of Chicago, where, as an undergraduate, Gary was credited with personally raising $1 million over two years.
Gary and his wife are parents to three daughters, ages 17,14, and 12.
