Beilin Zia ’13
Washington College is my home.
I blossomed in my four years here and I couldn’t think of a better place to start my higher education career than at WC. I love every aspect of our historic, beautiful liberal arts school. I love that students “dip their toes” into many different areas.
We have physics majors who are also acting in plays on the weekends and varsity athletes who are studying abroad to Tanzania and meeting indigenous people while bringing backpacks to school children.
You can pursue whatever you want here and meet people from all walks of life.
Above all, I love the people that make up Washington College. Whether it was my professors, classmates, staff, coworkers, or friends, everyone here has always been so kind and continues to be.
We are so much more than an academic institution - we are a family.
I hope that you can make it to campus to see it for yourself because I know that you will fall in love with Goose Nation.
Beilin works for the Office of Admissions as a counselor to prospective students from Maryland (Carroll county) and Pennsylvania (Lehigh Valley, Northeastern, Southeastern counties).
Beilin also works with the admissions marketing team, events, and the campus visit program.
