What so far has been your favorite tradition or memory at WC?
Why did you choose your major?
In the summer of 2011, I had the incredible opportunity of traveling to Tanzania, Africa and teaching English at a local primary school. By spending my summer in Africa, I learned a lot about life, and myself. In the end, Tanzania didn’t just change my perspective of the world, it changed my life. Also, this past January, I had the incredible experience of traveling to Israel with Professor Prud’homme and studying at Hebrew University of Jerusalem. During my time in Israel, I found the Jewish religions and culture to be absolutely fascinating and found my overall experience as inspirational. By the end of the two-week period, I had not only experienced multiple cultures, met incredible individuals, and fallen in love with Israel, but I was even more inspired to help out the country, the Middle East, and even more, the world.
What is your favorite place on campus?
My favorite place of campus is probably the green in the early spring because nothing is more beautiful than seeing all the trees start to bloom after a long winter.
