Austen was a Junior at Kent Island High School when he came to the Washington College GIS Lab. He is enrolled in the Project Lead the Way (PLTW) pathway and intends on majoring in Engineering. He is a member of the National Honor Society, Class Vice-President, Son of the American Legion, and participates in Queen Anne’s County “Teen Court” program. This summer he attended the Geospatial Discoveries Summer Program where he experienced working on Autodesk 3DS, Google SketchUp, and Unity. Austen will be working on building a 3D Model of the Chestertown area using Google SketchUp.
