First year experience/advice? Make sure you’ve written everything down ahead of time for your first day. I forgot to write down the room numbers for my classes and they were all back-to-back, so when I went to my second class, I didn’t know what room to go to. I wound up running to the library, entering the wrong room twice, and arrived to my class a few minutes late, sweaty and out of breath. Luckily, I had the nicest professor ever who only chuckled when I explained what happened.
Favorite place around Washington College? It’s a bit of a drive, but Cafe Sado is my favorite place for sushi. It’s relatively cheap, and you usually can get a buy one roll and get the other free. For walking distance, I’ve always liked the Fish Whistle by the water front.
Favorite Disney Character? I love all of the Disney princesses, but my favorite has to be Tiana from Princess & the Frog. I loved her hard work mentality and her attitude. And her gown was my favorite of all–which is obviously the most important factor.
