What do you do for a campus job or work study?
I am an office assistant in the Student Events Board/Office of Student Activities, and I am a note taker for the Office of Academic Skills.
How has WC changed your life? Or, what does WC mean to you?
WC is the best place to be if you want to truly enjoy your undergraduate experience. I have bonded with so many people and made so many friends that will certainly last for a lifetime. Since the campus is so small, it is easy to connect with professors and friends. I love how our small community comes together for events ranging from Wet N’ Wild to Relay Life for Life. WC has changed my entire perspective on life. I have learned to enjoy and cherish every moment, no matter the circumstance. Also, I have become more willing to step outside of my comfort zone. I love WC and it has been the best experience of my life. :)
What so far has been your favorite tradition or memory at WC?
Birthday Ball!!! I love when the alumni, professors, and students come together to celebrate George Washington’s birthday. I will never forget freshman year; the theme was Alice and Wonderland and all of the excitement of my first Birthday Ball. All of my friends and I got dressed together and we had a blast. And to believe that it was in the gym??? When we all walked into the gym, and we were just amazed at the transformation. It was truly the best memory ever!!!
What is your favorite Ctown hangout?
Play it Again Sam has the best smoothies ever!
