Moriah Purdy
Bio
Moriah L Purdy grew up in New England and then followed the path of many migratory birds to the Mid-Atlantic, first for an MFA in poetry and then for her current position at Washington College. As a Writing Center administrator, instructor for the departments of English and Education, and as a poet, her interests involve theories of writing and writing development; she generally seeks to cross perceived disciplinary boundaries and believes the liberal arts environment is an ideal place within which to do such work. Her current CV and a list of publications can be found, along with musings on pedagogy and poetics, at her blog: http://moriahlpurdy.wordpress.com.
