Q&A

Hometown: Hampstead, MD

What do you do for a campus job or work study?
I work for Central Services (mail room) where I deliver packages and mail to students, professors, and staff.  I also work as a Course Mentor and a Peer Mentor.

What are you up to this summer? And what are you most looking forward to?
I will be staying on campus this summer researching the water quality of the Chester River. I am really looking forward to being outside on a boat for part of my work and I am also looking forward to what I will discover about the Chester River and its ecosystem.

How has WC changed your life? Or, what does WC mean to you?
I have made some incredible friends thanks to WAC, and I have had more fun than I ever would have imagined. I have been given opportunities that I never thought I would have because WAC and all of its hard working professors and staff.

What so far has been your favorite tradition or memory at WC?
May Day is without a doubt my favorite WAC tradition. I think it’s great that people can participate in an event such as May Day and it brings a unique aspect and energy to our school that no other college has.
