Q&A

Hometown: Hughesville, MD

What do you do for a campus job or work study?
Other than being a Peer Mentor, I do not work on campus.

Have you had any internship, research or study abroad experiences?
Interned at the Marine Animal Rehabilitation Center at the University of New England - worked alongside veterinarians and veterinary technicians to care for harbor seal pups, gray seal adults, and several species of sea turtles.

How has WC changed your life? Or, what does WC mean to you?
WC absolutely means “home” to me. As cheesy as it sounds, it is where I belong and I feel so lucky to go here. The campus is beautiful, the history is inspiring, and the people are wonderful.  WAC will always be a place I can come “home” to.

What is your favorite Ctown hangout?
My favorite C-town hang out is Against The Grain - it’s an awesome bakery with great coffee.  It’s nice to sit and watch people walking down the street… and it smells wonderful.
