Q&A

Hometown: Fairhill, MD

What surprised you most when you first got to college?

I was surprised at how many opportunities there are to get involved. Washington offers a variety of sports, clubs, and activities and the school really strives for the success of its students. The small sense of community gives students the chance to branch out and develop strong connections. Without a doubt, I encourage everyone to take advantage of the awesome events the school plans throughout the year! It is a great way to meet others, while learning and trying something new.

What is your favorite thing about Washington College?

My favorite aspect about Washington College is the friendly and inviting atmosphere, along with great professors, staff, and students! Everyone here is very ambitious and willing to help one another other out. It definitely makes it feel like my second home.

Who is your favorite professor and why?

Professor Shad! I had the opportunity to take a few of his political science classes and his teaching style is very insightful and relevant. He has a lot of experience in his field and you can always count on him if you have any questions or comments.
