Q & A

Hometown? Middletown, Delaware

High School? Middletown High School

Favorite place around Washington College? My favorite place to eat in Chestertown is the Fish Whistle. They have high quality food and the restaurant is on the water. It’s a nice place to take a date or your family or just have some food with your friends.

First year experience/advice? My biggest mistake my first year at Washington College was locking myself out of my room. Never leave your room without your keys.

Superpower? If I could have any superpower I would have super speed. I could run everywhere and never have to pay for gas or a car.

Favorite Class at WC? 17th and 18th Century America, because it explains in large part how our nation got started and the course was a welcome change to the focus on the founding fathers and big names in history to a down to earth focus that explained the groups of people that influenced our nation and how they lived in those times and how their beliefs changed the course of history.

Recommended Professor? Dr. Siudzinski is a professor I highly recommend. His style is very different from most teachers and he focuses on a more hands on approach rather than relying solely on lecture. The course I took with him was very educational and I had a lot of fun.

Most Memorable Experience as a First-Year Student? On the athletic field it was the War on the shore when we played at Salisbury. Off the field it was birthday ball.

If I Could be Any Animal, I’d be? I think it would be cool to be a lion, because no one messes with a lion

One Thing You Shouldn’t Forget to Pack is? Don’t forget your laptop/computer. Anything you might forget you should be able to go get either at the Walgreens in town or a 30 minute trip to Middletown’s Walmart (if you don’t have a car make friends that have them).
