Erin Gray
Major/Minor
English / Creative WritingAs the daughter of two alumni, JoAnne Gray ‘79 and G. Richard Gray ‘79, I never imagined attending their Alma mater. Thank goodness I gave Washington College a chance. I can’t imagine spending my college years anywhere else. And I was relieved to have a chance to make my own name for myself, rather than being known as “JoAnne and Dicky’s daughter” (which thankfully has only happened once in my whole college career!).
On Being A Peer Consultant At The Writing Center
I love being a peer consultant. It’s a joy to help other students with their writing, returning the favor other consultants and friends have done for me. The one-on-one conversations I have with other student writers are always conversations between like minds, and I have learned so much about my own writing from those who come to the Center for help.
