Emma Sovich lives in Tuscaloosa, AL, where she is pursuing her MFA in creative writing at the University of Alabama. She’s working as managing editor of the Black Warrior Review, and she has picked up part-time editorial assistant work at the University of Alabama Press. Prior to this, she worked at the Johns Hopkins University Press for two years as an editorial assistant.
