After graduating from Washington College with a major in German Language & Literature and an English minor, Kristina Tatusko Henry ‘88 worked as a program manager and technical writer for several aviation management consulting firms in the Washington, DC metropolitan area.
From 1998 to 2001 Henry was the Assistant Director of Alumni Affairs at Washington College. From 2001 to 2009 she worked in public relations and development for the Academy Art Museum in Easton, MD. Henry is the author of four children’s picture books and her essays have appeared in major publications including the Washington Post and The Washingtonian magazine. Henry serves on the board of the Critchlow Adkins Children’s Centers (CACC). She lives in Easton with her husband, Mike.
“Washington College helped shape my career as a writer. But more importantly my college education, especially my WC professors, enabled me to be a critical and analytical thinker,” says Henry. “My experiences as a student gave me a solid foundation. As the Talbot County chapter co-chairman I enjoy meeting new students and alumni, and reconnecting with old friends.”
