Mrs. Frederick is the mother of James "Gates" Gately Blair, III '13, a business major. Her family owns Alban Tractor Company. Mr. Frederick owns a small, family custom home building company called Andever that serves the high-cost end of the housing market. She and her husband, Joe, reside in Easton, MD.
