Barbara Harbaugh Measell
After graduating from Washington College, I went to graduate school at North Carolina State University in psychology. I missed the smaller community we had at Washington College and never did get my masters.
Dan Measell ‘68 and I married in 1971 and have 2 adult daughters and 3 grandchildren. I worked as a computer programmer and data analyst at the Center for Naval Analyses for 35 years and retired almost 3 years ago. Dan worked in the mortgage industry and retired last spring. Now we have time to play with our grandchildren, go to our condo in Virginia Beach more often, and build our dream house in Spotsylvania County, VA. We plan to move into it this spring. We have lived in the Washington, D.C., suburbs for our entire marriage so this will be a welcome change.
We have gone to most of the reunions for both of our classes and are looking forward to seeing a large turnout for the class of 1970. One of the great things about going to a small college is that we know most of each other’s classmates.
