Andrea Lange

Interim Associate Provost of Academic Services

Andrea is responsible for assuring that the College provides the highest quality academic services for our students.

In addition to working directly with students who have academic questions or concerns and serving as academic advisor to a group of first year students each year, she supervises the academic advising program, the program fro nationally competitive awards and the Summer Advising Program.  She is also responsible for the Global Education Office, the Office of the Registrar and the Academic Resources Offices, which include the Writing Center, the Quantitative Skills Center and the Office of Academic Skills.  Andrea works closely with the Office of Student Affairs, especially on New Student Orientation, the Peer Mentor Program and Fall Family Weekend.  She also provides administrative support to the Director of First Year Writing and the Director of Global Research and Writing Seminars.

In addition to these responsibilities, Andrea will continue to act as the institutional liaison for various off campus experiential educational opportunities and works with faculty, students and staff to enhance the nexus between the college curriculum and participatory learning.  Along with the Director of Central Services and a faculty member, she also coordinates Pre Law program initiatives and mentors students on aspects of the law school application process, the LSAT test, law school selection choices and legal practice areas.
