As Vice President of College Advancement, Andrea Trisciuzzi is responsible for alumni relations and fundraising for Washington College.
Her objective is to engage constituents, including alumni, parents, and residents of the Eastern Shore, as active partners in the life and vitality of the College and to secure philanthropic investments that help the College achieve its strategic vision.
Andrea joined Washington College in February 2016 after a national search. Prior to her hire, she was at the Peabody Institute of The Johns Hopkins University, where she was Associate Dean for External Relations, having held the position of Associate Dean for Development and Alumni Relations from 2009-2013. During her tenure, she doubled the annual fundraising for the Institute. She led her team to consistently meet and exceed all measurements for visits, number of solicitations, total dollar value of proposals, new prospects qualified, and dollars raised every year for five consecutive years.
During her 26 year fundraising career, Andrea has served as the Vice President for Institutional Advancement for the College of Notre Dame of Maryland, as the Associate Vice President for Development and Campaign Director at St. Bonaventure University and in a variety of positions for a number of nationally acclaimed performing arts institutions. She earned her B.A. in Art History from Brown University and a B.F.A. in Music, summa cum laude, from SUNY Purchase.
In announcing the selection, President Bair highlighted Andrea’s extensive leadership experience and proven track record as a successful fundraiser in an increasingly difficult economic environment.
