Uncover Responsible Agriculture in Kent County - Session 2

We will discover and discuss the agricultural activities that are being implemented in our community. This course will provide valuable insight from the farmer, the landowner, and the wildlife manager as they share their joint roles in achieving responsible agriculture in Kent County. The class will provide the opportunity to ask questions and engage with these leaders about the economics, technology, and environmental impacts of the farming industry. Session 1 - Trey Hill: Becoming familiar with the activities that make up a successful farming operation in Kent County. Session 2 - Joe Hickman:Discussing best management practices that will protect agriculture landowner’s estates, the farmer’s livelihood, and our shared environment. Session 3 - Mark Conner: Understanding the advancements being used to enhance agriculture, wildlife and our watershed. Session 4 - Panel: Open discussion.
