August 01, 2014
Join us in celebrating disability awareness this month with the new creative non-fiction collection display in the front case at Miller Library!

The book collection, a collaboration between the Office of Academic Skills and the Library and Academic Technology group, highlights a number of important topics that may be affecting the lives of students, faculty, and staff at Washington College and beyond.

Let us know if you’d like to check out any of our display items that focus on issues like:

  • PTSD
  • Anxiety and Phobias
  • Bipolar Disorder
  • Asperger’s
  • Visual and auditory disabilities
  • Autism
  • Cerebral Palsy
  • ADHD

And, when you’re in the library make sure to stop in on the second floor to see Andrea Vassar and Lindsay Sears at the Office of Academic Skills. The OAS provides Washington College students with support that enhances their academic and personal development.
