Psychology Students Conquered NYC

April 03, 2013
Students headed to the Big Apple for the Eastern Psychological Association conference.

Clinical/Counseling

In March, students in the Clinical Counseling program presented the results of their research at the annual meeting of the Eastern Psychological Association in NYC.  Their work covered a wide range of clinical topics and attracted interest from colleagues at other Colleges.

Behavioral Neuroscience:

Students in the Behavioral Neuroscience program shared the results of their work at the annual meeting of the Eastern Psychological Association in NYC.  Both human and animal research on the effects of concussions on memory and attention was reported and was well received.

General

In March, the Psychology Department at Washington College descended upon the annual meeting of the Eastern Psychological Association in NYC.  There were 60 undergraduate co-authors from Washington College, a total unheard of at any research conference.  The meeting was held at the Marriot Times Square and so in addition to presenting their work for professional review, students had the opportunity to see the sights.
