Chesapeake Semester graduate and CES Intern Elle O’Brien ‘11 discusses where her experiences have taken her.
“After the Chessie Mester I had an internship with CES as the environmental outreach intern, a summer internship with NOAA at the Wells National Estuarine Research Reserve (NERR) in Maine as a research intern and education intern, and I now have an internship at the Chesapeake Bay Trust. I honestly think I would not have received any of these opportunities or have even had the confidence/thought of applying for them if it were not for the Chesapeake Semester.”
Thesis Title:
“WHITE GOLD: Peruvian Guano Industry as an Example for Alternative Use of Chicken Litter on the Delmarva Peninsula”
