In honor of the 75th Anniversary of the Washington College chapter of Omicron Delta Kappa National Leadership Honor Society, faculty members were inducted alongside new student members.
The Cater Society of Junior Fellows and Phi Beta Kappa hosted a mixer for students interested in becoming a Junior Fellow or learning about the high honor of being chosen to join the Phi Beta Kappa honor society. Students spoke with their peers, professors, and staff about research projects and pursuit of academic distinction.
The WC Dance Company, directed by Professor of Physical Education Karen L. Smith, presented its annual Spring Dance Concert at Cain Athletic Center to kick off National Dance Week. The concert featured a wide variety of dance styles ranging from classical and contemporary to modern dance, jazz, hip-hop, lyrical, and tap dancing. More than 25 Washington College students performed 24 dance numbers, including five solo dances, with most of the dances choreographed by students.
