Guided by Professor Bill Schindler, students visited several museums to consider the ethical, political, and economic factors that influence how history is portrayed. The course culminated in an Iron Age village in Denmark.
We arrived at the open-air museum and experimental archaeology research center, Sagnlandet in Lejre, Denmark famished. Luckily, the interpreters in the Viking Age Ville had a big pot of period correct food to share with all of us!
