A cohort of students, faculty, and staff of Habitat for Humanity spent a day refurbishing the playground at St. Martin’s House in Ridgely. The work included reconstructing the roof on an old shed and sprucing up a playhouse for small children.
Students and staff traveled down the Eastern Shore to Belle Haven, Virginia over Fall Break to help build a home with Habitat for Humanity. Habitaters camped at a local church and spent three days putting up drywall, mudding the walls, constructing a shed, and doing some landscaping. Homeowner Danielle Harmon should be able to move in by December!
Students, faculty, and staff involved in Habitat for Humanity returned to the Eastern Shore of Virginia—where they spent the previous Fall Break—for a summer workday.
