Each April, the Anthropology Club holds the annual Atlatl Competition with participation of Murray, the life-size mastodon. An atlatl uses leverage to achieve greater velocity in dart-throwing.
The Anthropology Club teamed up with the Center for Environment & Society and the ChestertownWeston A. Price Foundation chapter for a live screening of the Harvard Law School Food Law Society’s debate on raw milk. Students, faculty, and local alumni gathered at Against the Grain Bakery for cookies, discussion, and gently pasteurized milk.
