Jim Keady, the activist behind the Nike accountability campaign Team Sweat, spoke to students about his efforts to improve working conditions and wages for factory workers in an interactive multimedia event.
Jim Keady opened his presentation with a screening of his 20-minute film “Behind the Swoosh”, which details his journey from being a university soccer coach to living among Indonesian factory workers, which would lead him to educate and organize citizens around issues of peace and justice.
