On Friday, February 28, the Cromwell Center was opened. At the ribbon cutting in Goldstein, Washington College faculty and staff joined Barbara and George Cromwell and friends to celebrate the occasion.
Major donors to the Daniel Z. Gibson Center for the Arts and members of the Board of Visitors and Governors previewed “Second Nature: Masterpieces of 19th-Century Landscape Painting” in the Kohl Gallery, curated by Kohl Gallery Director and Underwood Chair in Art History Donald McColl. Singer Sue Matthews ‘75, accompanied by pianist Robert Redd performed “The American Songbook.”
The SANDBOX program launches its first exhibition featuring famed sculptor, John Ruppert. Faculty, students and community members alike flocked to Kohl Gallery to see the works and get to know a little bit more about the program.
