Middle Hall’s residents made Tibetan Flags for writing down what virtues they hope to uphold this year. Professor Kevin Brien came as a guest to speak about the philosophic significance behind the practice.
Stephen Wade gave Washington College a musical and multimedia presentation in which he plays the original folk songs that inspire some of the most famously known country tunes. He also shares photos of the people and locations that gave birth to them.
The Washington College Interactive Gaming Society (WIGS) held an interest meeting on September 5th to talk about this year’s live action role play (LARP), and to hear what this year’s batch of gamers have in mind for tabletops, board games, and other activities.
Also known as “To Write Love On Her Arms” Day. Students gathered in Fountain Park in Chestertown to bring attention to and to help prevent suicides. Students also mourned the loss of our fellow classmate Aaron Taylor, who took his life only a few days before.
