As part of the National Student Employment Week celebration, the College community extends a gracious “thank you” to all of its student employees for their contributions. Across campus, student employees perform invaluable services with enthusiasm, dedication, and initiative.
The Día de Fútbol is an annual community-bridging event run and organized by WC students, staff, and faculty volunteers. Local children and their families are invited to campus to participate in a day of soccer, family literacy, and genuine intercultural exchange.
Alumni and students gathered at Brown Advisory in Baltimore to learn from and network with one another. Peter Maller ’90 and Nicholas Mikhalevsky ’04 spoke about navigating a successful career in financial services and the Business Management department presented an overview of WC’s new finance and investing initiatives. Participants mingled with former Board of Visitors and Governors Chair, Jay Griswold P’94, H’07 and one another during the happy hour business card exchange while enjoying refreshments provided by Panache Fine Catering. The successful event was organized by Alumni Board members Charlie Athey ‘01 and Jenn Carey Svehla ‘03, with help from the Baltimore Alumni Chapter.
